If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application.Hi, I'm Pippa, an active beautiful Basenji X in need of a new home. I was rescued from Animal Services where I was found as a stray.My finder said I was good with the 3 and 5 yo children in their home, but while I was in a foster home for a short while I exhibited herding instincts by nipping at heels and legs as well as initiating play by biting. If you have children in the home we have to meet and interact to assess my potential with your family.Other things my fosters said about me is I'm a great dog. Unfortunately I kept jumping the short fence to torment the chickens, so I couldn't stay. I have a strong prey drive. I'm good on leash, smart and independent. I'm not dog reactive so if you have a dog in the home, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I'm not prone to barking and I ride well in the car once inside, but I don't like being put into the car.If you have room in your heart and home for me, please fill out an application to meet me.
