My story
Breed: Beagle / Chihuahua X DOB: 2/2020 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: small Color(s): brown / white Description: Hi, I'm Sheema, a beautiful, young Beagle/Chi X in need of a new home as my owner ran afoul with too many dogs (12) in the home.
I came in not socialized and slow to come out of my shell. My foster home decided that I needed professional training and contacted Cheri (she is in the picture with me) who has been working with feral and under socialized dogs with great success. Cheri is not doing it alone, her balanced pack has been instrumental in bringing me out of my shell.
Thank you to everyone who donated to my fundraiser so I could get the professional help that I needed, check it out. Click to view fundraiser.
I have come a long way as can be seen on Cheri's IG site, also check out this YouTube video: Click to view YouTube video.
Cheri describes me as being fun to work with. I love to play with the pack, big or small and would need one or more fur siblings in my forever home, small children are not recommended.
Although I am doing great in training I still need some transition time when I find my forever home. I'll need a patient loving someone who will give me the structure I need to continue to progress socially and show my true personality.
If you think you might be able to give me the type of home environment I need, please fill out an online application. Meet and greet will be after I return from training. It is highly recommended that the adoptive owner(s) agree to a consultation with Cheri.
*Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog and giving her the chance for a better life.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sheema, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
